My Background
Texas A&M University
I graduated from Texas A&M University in August of 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, as well as minors in both English and Business. During my studies, I refined my skills in writing for news publications, editing according to the AP Style Guide, interviewing expert sources, and creating content for a variety of media platforms. I collaborated with a diverse range of individuals, from health professionals to intramural soccer teams, to create stories for the university's official news site, The Battalion.
Slay Away Magazine
In my final semester, I interned at Slay Away, a horror podcast and magazine. There, I discovered a passion for horror while writing movie and book reviews, news releases, and editorial features.
Renée Rouleau Skin Care
After graduation and my internship, I joined Renée Rouleau Skin Care as a content editor and copywriter. Initially, I wrote blog content with celebrity esthetician Renée Rouleau and supported our social media team with copywriting. As my responsibilities grew, I managed all blog content, oversaw the entire content planning calendar, and handled all marketing materials, including one-sheets, email and SMS copy, product packaging, and web content.
REVOLVE
In my current role, I write and edit editorial copy across fashion and beauty email campaigns, homepage features, social, and PDPs, while tracking performance metrics to inform strategy and boost engagement. I also own the entirety of beauty emails, from trend research and layout planning to content writing and merchandising.
